Sr. Field Applications Engineer - Shanghai, Mobile
Responsibilities:
Product Analysis: Understand RF Product performance and specifications in receiver and transmitter chain. Such products include: LNA's, Power Amplifiers, ASM, Switch, SAW filter and DCDC etc. Must have good understanding of product functions and applications in system architecture. Must be able to work with matching circuits for various specifications such as PA efficiency and linearity.
Product Development Cycle: Must have technical understanding of complete product cycle from system requirements, applications, design specifications, fabrications, product characterization, qualifications, reliability, assembly, and to high volume productions. Must be able to communicate and address issues at any and all phases.
Field Technical support: Support customers in the field with any and all technical issues involving system architecture (definition, system specifications, block diagrams), product type and family (MMIC's, chip sets, modules), applications (troubleshoot circuits, demonstrate product functionality, offer alternate design methods), designs (external matching, bias schemes), reliability (MSL, FA's, Thermal analysis), packaging (substrates, MSL, material sets, modules, MMIC's), Assembly (Manufacturing notes, reflow profiles, solder properties, MSL) system board and IC layouts (impedance control, board material, BOM, layer stack up), Testing (performance correlation, yield analysis, qualifications), and failure analysis (RMA, Corrective action). Work with technical team in U.S. offices to communicate and resolve field technical issues.
Customer Design Cycle: Understand customer's design cycles. Communicate effectively to Internal customers on every stage of customer's design cycle, changes, and results. Generate progress reports detailing from design phase to Mass Production including competitive information, key contacts, design platforms, volume, issues, and any other pertinent technical information. Plan and participate customer visits, training, and seminars accordingly.
Design and Lab support: Work with standard RF test equipment such as test box, spectrum analyzer, power meter, signal generator, vector network analyzer, digital scopes, and standard re-work stations. Work with circuit simulation packages such as ADS, Cadence, Microwave office, and PA load pull system.
Requirements:
BSEE /MSEE with 4+ years Direct experience in RFIC design or Applications.
Must have strong RFIC applications knowledge with MMIC's, chip sets, modules, and overall system specifications.
Must be familiar with different wireless applications and standards such as GSM, EDGE, TDSCDMA, WCDMA, and LTE.
Familiar with radio (Tx/Rx) design is a plus.
5 years working experience in handset design industry.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Visio, ADS or equivalent simulation tool.
Speak and write English well.

Sr. Field Applications Engineer - Shanghai, IDP
Responsibilities:
Pre and Post design win customer support for Qorvo standard and high power RF products for infrastructures application.
Work closely with Sales to develop business opportunities at major customers.
Work on-site with key customers de-bug of technical issues.
Verify customer-reported issues and cooperate with product line AE team to resolve.
Provide products training and demonstrations to customers, Reps /Distribution partners.
Develop relationships at engineering levels within the customers.
Essential Functions:
Work as a member of a team to bring RF components including amplifiers to market. Responsibilities will include interface with sales and marketing as the customer’s technical contact. Ability to communicate customer needs, system specifications and product cycle information to the business units.
Work in lab to tune customer boards and evaluation boards: Hands-on lab work to identify and resolve issues; Strong lab skills including bench test setup, soldering, micro-probing, use of common RF test gear, complex measurement techniques. System level analysis and design experience component performance budgeting based on system level requirement (analysis of noise power, linearity, harmonics, impedance matching).
On-site support: Experience in resolving customer technical issues. Provide customers with RF technical product support at the RF system and component level. Work with customers to integrate RF components into BTS RRU, High Power Amplifier, Access Points, CATV applications etc. Good presentation skills, customer oriented, good technical writing ability, responsible for technical articles, application notes, product notes. Willingness to travel a few times a quarter for customer visits.
Strong overall RF experience: Familiar with transmission theory, matching theory, filtering, PA design, PA biasing, PA architectures, transceiver architectures, antennas, RF test methods. Design and analyze RF circuits using tools such as Agilent ADS; Momentum, Mathcad (Mathlab), Libra, Eagleware, SPICE, etc. Working knowledge of Smith Chart analysis and impedance matching.
Requirements:
BSEE, MSEE a plus.
5+ years as RF/Microwave Engineer and/or Applications.
Visual Basic, C, C++ a plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Visio, ADS or equivalent simulation tool.
Speak and write English well.

Inside Sales Representative (Temporary Employee - 12 months) - Shanghai
Responsibilities:
Handle customer order and schedule information in ERP system; Update shipment data at customer portal; Prepare backlog report; Support IS and Sales in various functions.
Job descriptions:
Obtain complete and correct orders from customer; Process customer orders promptly and accurately in ERP system, including new order entry & changes, rescheduling, RMA management, and etc.
Prepare backlog report for customer.

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer - Suzhou
Description:
This position will provide the logistical support and coordination for SAW Filter Wafer Substrates (Lithium Niobate & LaTiO3) development and manufactory for DHE China. You will be part of a team that is developing Qorvo's world-class SAW Filter wafer Substrate supplier. Teamwork and the ability to communicate very complex. Critical to the success of this position is the individual's ability to drive issues to resolution and work with suppliers to capitalize on the Key customer success include insuring products are designed for manufacturability cost and performance. Additional responsibilities will be Cu pillar bumping Supplier quality local support in Shanghai.
Key Job Functions:
This position serves as the liaison for the Qorvo International Asia Pacific Supplier Quality and Qorvo SAW filter factory in the area for SAW Filter Wafer Substrates (Lithium Niobate & LaTiO3) development, providing guidance and direction to DHE manufactory. Daily responsibilities will include communicating and coordinating activities with the US based foundry, design, Engineering and APSQE teams. You will work to facilitate and drive development priorities, ensuring timely coordination and execution. Examples of daily duties include reviewing the characterization data. Also including Cu pillar bump local support in Shanghai for key customer product on process yields, performance concerns, and quality issue follow up. Requires frequently interact and hands on with SAW filter & Cu pillar bump manufactory, Engineering, and APSQE team. This position will report directly to the Qorvo International APSQE Manager.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and capable of self-direction.
Requires the ability to speak both English and Mandarin.
Have a solid understanding of device physics and Cu pillar bump process.
Have a BS/MS in engineering or a physical science.
Minimum five years Wafer Substrate or Cu pillar bumping process, process integration experience.
Previous employment with Lithium Niobate & LaTiO3 or bumping is a plus.
Good statistical data analysis skills are required.
Possess first-rate analytical problem solving skills that leads to superb decision making.

Inside Sales Representative Leader - Shenzhen, IDP
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with customer, Qorvo sales, and other Qorvo departments in China and in other countries, to provide high level service to company's key customer accounts and to Sales team, in support of achievement of the business objectives and the company's customer satisfaction goals.
Job descriptions:
Customer and Sales Support.
Coordinate weekly and monthly customer demand and forecast update.
Keep track of price quote for customer accounts in charge.
Ensure timely /accurate processing of new orders and order changes; Ensure customer backlog is accurate at all times.
Ensure timely /accurate processing of sample requests, including communications with customers as required.
Proactively monitor and track order status, and resolve possible issues, to ensure shipments on schedule. Communicate with internal teams for their support on order scheduling and delivery.

Requirements:

Sr. Customer Quality Engineer - Shenzhen, IDP
Responsibility:
Interface between Qorvo and Customer base to assure the 'Voice of Customer’ is understood and considered in all of our product quality and processes. This position needs work closely with local sales and application team to increase customer satisfaction as well as working with Corporate quality and APAC operations to drive for continuous quality improvement.
Pre-sales involvement to proactively support customer quality requirements and needs, support sales activities and new product design-in checklist survey and approval.
Communicate customer’s specific product qualification requirements, needs and roadmaps and feedback to appropriate internal groups for alignment.
During new product Pre launch (NPI), communicate customer requirements and provide prototype build data back to Corporate team to assure all customer's requirements for reliability and qualification needs are met (package level and device level qualification requirements), also ensure a smooth prototype ramp to mass production.
Post-sales involvement for quality issue resolution and continuous improvement. Manage customer complaints and quality concerns to customer's satisfaction.
During the Post launch phase (Mass Production) to monitor customer line DPM data and manage failure return to FA lab for analysis and coordinate with FA engineer to ensure FA be completed and issue be closed within a customer satisfied cycle time.
Regular customer communication and interaction to develop key relationships with the Quality /Engineering team at the customer's location, as well as work with Corp group and APAC operations to keep continuous product quality improvement.
Serve as host of customer audit and coordinate audit to ensure audit go smooth and open actions to be followed up within a customer satisfied cycle time.
Review and approve customer checklist, survey and customer quality documents.
Work closely with local Sales /FAE team for all aspects of customer quality activities, target on Perfect Quality Performance' for customer to support company business growth.
Customer relationship build and total customer satisfaction achievement on quality portion.
Qualifications:
BS - Microelectronic & Electronic Engineering or experience equivalent, MS is a plus.
5+ year relevant semiconductor industry working experience or CQE experience.
Strong background knowledge and experience in Microelectronic / Electronics Engineering which covers: Semiconductor & IC circuit theory and wireless communication.
Good Listen /Speak /Read /Write skills in English and good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Windows, MS Office is essential.
Be familiar with Industry standard, Quality tools.

Product Marketing Engineer - Shenzhen, Mobile
Responsibility:
Develops marketing strategy to ensure continuous growth in Greater China market.
Aligns customer requirements for existing and future products with business unit.
Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.
Supports the sales team and customers for products within the SSBU portfolio.
Qualifications:
BSEE or MSEE with focus on RF/Microwave Engineering.
3-5 years' of RF industry experience is required (Technical support background is a plus).
Listening, speaking, reading, writing skills in English.
Dedicated, team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
